A woman has strengths that amazes man

I ALWAYS feel sorry for both, because being together, you always need to use one gender's measure to judge the other. That is what causes women sometimes to judge themselves by malish standards, or males to judge themselves by femalish standards, and rather than just "Being" one has to carry on the burden of judging themselves harshly as if they were not the norm?

Lately I have developed a soft spot for any uni-gender gatherings. Not that they are a mean of blaming the other or saying that they are bad and thus we are creating a "fight" group. No, I hate that stuff. However, more and more I feel how healthy and important it is for girls to be together and feel NORMAL, belonging, and understood. It seems to me that life just want to force the two into food processor and shred them in pieces for the sake of modernization.

Aysha, i totally agree with you, any woman who knows her place in society is a happy woman.
By place in society i dont agree with what is understood in the Middle East as place in Society, but more the Islamic place in society, where she has the right to do business, to drive, to transact, to work, however in the umbrella of Islam, not culture.
Today our women are confused between following, culture, Islam and the west(alien culture in general). Hence they come across as such a confused being, and thus our men can treat them how they treat them.
One should ask about the strength of character in the wives of the companions.
There are so many narrations about how stable these women were, i mean who was or is ever more man than Umar RA, and read the narrations about the strength of character his wife had.
I believe our women need to take it upon themselves to adopt the Islamic culture and drive that through as the fundamental for their reform, rather than grabbing western values as the fundamental for reform.
But all in all, a real man knows the value of his woman, look at history
just some loud thoughts....
